ENCODE Influenza PCR Kit
There are four types of influenza (flu) viruses: A, B, C and D. Wild aquatic birds, including gulls, terns, and shorebirds, and wild waterfowl, such as ducks, geese and swans are considered reservoirs (hosts) for avian influenza A viruses. This amplification kit detects influenza via Real TimePCR. This allows absolute quantification or a qualitative assay.Real Time PCR is based on fluorogenic dyes. Ct valuesbetween 12 - 36 should be taken as positive. Values between 36 - 40 Ct should be taken as marginal positive. Ct values above 40 must be considered as negative
