ENCODE VEGAN IDENTIFICATION KIT

Identification of meat species present in food samples is an essential step for verification of origin and traceability of raw materials, as well as for quality control of handling and cleaning processes in production lines.

ENCODE VEGAN ID Kit enables real-time PCR detection of animal DNA (mammals, birds and fish) in food and feed samples. Invertebrate animal species such as seafood (crustaceans and mollusks) are not detected by the assay. The methods also detect the Presence of Vegetal DNA in a parallel test as a control.
